The location was perfect for visiting the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, just a short drive away. The cottage itself was beautifully presented with modern fittings, yet still maintained its historic charm. The hosts were incredibly responsive and provided excellent recommendations for family-friendly activities in the area. We also appreciated the easy check-in process and the spacious downstairs bathroom with a huge tub. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our large family.
My wife says that the couch in the living room was quite old and could use a replacement or reupholstering.

One thing I absolutely loved about this cozy cottage was the beautiful decoration throughout. The attention to detail and the combination of modern fittings with the historic charm of the house created a delightful atmosphere. The common areas were so inviting, with comfortable furniture and a warm ambiance. As a senior woman, I really appreciated how accessible the cottage was. The pathways were well-maintained and there were handrails in the right places, making it easy for me to navigate around the property.
The only thing I would have asked for to make this vacation even better for senior people is more assistance from the children working there. A little extra support and guidance would have been appreciated, especially with operating the stove and the washer/dryer.

The cottage was like a time capsule, with its charming 19th-century building and beautifully maintained garden. I had a blast fishing and cycling nearby, and the free WiFi was a bonus. Towels were provided, so no need to bring my own!
Oh, the pleasure of smelling that not-so-delicious scent and trying to figure out the mysterious stove! But hey, who needs a clean washer/dryer, stable internet, or a decent couch when you have uneven floors in the kitchen?
